Way before, short lip-syncing and dancing videos were a viral trend on the internet. Way before TikTok made it big and captured a massive user base. At least a couple of years before TikTok hit the app stores, we had Dubsmash. And Lewis Hamilton was an avid user as he made some hilarious clips on the platform.

Dubsmash, released in 2014, was arguably a less successful version of TikTok. However, the app enjoyed its fair share of fame during its initial years and Hamilton took a bite. Luckily for us, we can still find some of these clips on Facebook. And we have done just that.

In this clip from 2015, the Mercedes man is lip-syncing a dialogue of American actor and comedian, Chris Tucker, from the movie Rush Hour 2.

We could’ve been a good couple. We could’ve had something special, but you one crazy a*s b*tch,” re-enacted Hamilton. More than the dialogue, Hamilton perfectly captures the dialogue delivery with the fake panting and wide eyes.

We truly missed the Hamilton TikTok era, or Dubsmash, should we say? However, luckily for us, the seven-time world champion has moved on to more professional work.

We are not sure how big a part Hamilton’s Dubsmash video would’ve played in it. However, the Brit secured a voice acting role in popular animated movies, Cars 2 and Cars 3.

Apart from the animated movies, Hamilton played a tiny role in Zoolander 2 and even is a character in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. These past projects showcase Hamilton’s involvement in the entertainment industry. So when his involvement in Apple’s F1 project starring Bra Pitt was announced, it did not come as a surprise.
