He explained his mindset while going into races and said, You have to feel pressured and stressed, you have to be nervous before a Formula 1 race when you make a start or a qualifying lap.” This just shows how Sainz prefers racing under pressure, as that’s what brings out the best in him.

While there’s speculation about his racing future beyond Ferrari, Sainz appears composed and focused on the present. He addressed the transfer and did not have his contract in the interview. Sainz expressed, “It’s true that it has been a very intense two weeks for everyone at home, in Maranello, but I’m focusing on preparing for this season, which is very important for Ferrari.” When asked about advice for Hamilton upon his arrival at Ferrari, Sainz humorously replied, “Let him try my kart!”

By now, it’s known that Sainz is a Go-Kart fanatic. He expressed enthusiasm for his karting brand, highlighting the thrill of competition with his colleagues, Roberto Merhi and Félix Porteiro. Sainz’s schedule involves rigorous training and preparation, including recent Pirelli tests in Montmeló and upcoming F1-75 tests in Fiorano. He is preparing for 2024 as this year he has many people to impress if he is looking for a seat in 2025.

Lewis Hamilton moving to Ferrari has left Mercedes without a driver. This means it’s fair play for Carlos Sainz to join the Silver Arrows to get back at his old team. Mercedes has had a decent season although it did not claim the 1st position. The team finished second, beating Ferrari. This does have a lot to do with Lewis Hamilton’s performance but in the end, it was Mercedes’ car that let him achieve that. Now, the fight is for the top three, as both Ferrari and Mercedes try to have the best team to dethrone Red Bull.
