The Australian has friendly relations with almost everyone. In what can be his last United States Grand Prix for a while, the McLaren racing driver is enjoying each moment to the fullest. The Perth-born driver will leave Mclaren at the end of this year, following a disappointing 2 years stint with the papaya team.

Today when Max Verstappen was busy having the attention of reporters, Daniel Ricciardo invaded the interview. The Ex-Red Bull driver hugged the two-time world champion before congratulating him on the title win. The duo apparently shares a good friendship bond.

“I’ve only messaged you, but I haven’t seen you in person. It’s a bit late, but congrats,” Ricciardo told him.

Verstappen replied saying, ” Thanks,” as he pointed towards the new beard look of Honey Badger and asked jokingly, “Are you okay?”

The Australian responded by saying, “Can you still… you can’t grow a beard yet, huh? Two-time World Champion and he can’t even grow a beard.”

The Dutchman confirmed his lack of facial hair and told Ricciardo to “blame my mum.”

Twitter F1 fans reacted hilariously on the Banter between Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo

Twitter F1 fans were exhilarated after watching the wholesome moment ahead of the United States Grand Prix. Earlier, Max’s father Jos Verstappen appreciated Ricciardo for mentoring his son during Dutchman’s initial years at Red Bull. The Honey Badger was a known name on the grid when Verstappen made his debut for the Austrian team. The bond had only developed since then.

Now social media is reacting to the good natured banter between the duo.

A fan advised the Honey Badger not to have left Red Bull.
