“You Are a 35 Year Old Woman, How Toxic Can You Be”: Vampire Diaries Actress Claire Holt Shamelessly Harassed by Max Verstappen’s Orange Army Over Honest Confession

The F1 world is not new to controversies involving stars from pop culture. One of the celebrities that is an F1 enthusiast is Vampire Diaries actress Claire Holt. She was seen at the Miami GP in 2022, as a guest in the Williams garage. The team even let her sit inside the FW44 when she was there. While all of that is in the past, she now finds herself in hot water owing to an unpopular confession of hers regarding 2-time World Champion Max Verstappen.

To engage her fans, Holt decided to do a round of questions and answers with them on Instagram. Most of the questions revolved around her outfits, skincare routine, her pregnancy, names for her unborn child, and her hair and makeup. Out of all the questions that she received, she decided to answer 27 of them. Only one of them was related to F1, and unlike the diplomacy that celebs usually have in public, she decided to go the non-diplomatic way of answering.

That one question was a simple one: “Do you still watch F1”. To this, she replied, saying, “I love it but I am tired of Max winning all the time. Also I think he’s a grouchy baby and I’d like Checo to kick his a**.” For a question where a Yes or No answer should have sufficed, she decided to trash the reigning World Champion.

When celebrities say such controversial things in public, they are bound to receive backlash from the public. And receive backlash from Verstappen’s fans, she did.

Max Verstappen’s Orange Army Leaves No Stone Unturned In Trashing Claire Holt

Her statements went down sourly with the huge fanbase of Max Verstappen. Fans of the Dutchman and various Instagram fan pages of his quickly started unleashing hell in the comments sections of her Instagram posts. From calling her “childish and toxic” to saying that she uses “2 inches of makeup on her face”, they came all guns blazing.

One fan also got her age into the debate, commenting, “You Are a 35-Year-Old Woman, How childish & Toxic Can You Be”

As of now, her Instagram story replies are disabled. So the fans took to the comments of photos irrelevant to her comment. A lot of the comments involved Verstappen being called the “GOAT”, and “more relevant” than Holt will ever be.

Such comments and opinions from fans will trouble her for a little while online. Though the negative hype should die down after a certain amount of time, it seems that she will be on the receiving end of hostility from the Orange Army till she makes a public apology. And that is if she chooses to do so. For now, she finds herself amid an undesirable controversy.
