Lando Norris is regarded as one of the most talented drivers on the grid, especially among the next-generation drivers. The Brit graduated to the premier class in 2019, fresh off of his F2 championship title. The Brit hasn’t disappointed and has stood by the reputation that preceded him throughout his time at McLaren so far. The Brit flirted with the idea of signing with Red Bull in 2021. However, the seat went to Sergio Perez and Norris eventually signed a long-term contract. This was the second time the Red Bull family doors opened for the Brit as he was being scouted during his 2018 F2 season for then-Toro Rosso. The McLaren academy driver eventually joined the Woking outfit and he’ll be there till the end of the 2025 season. This is exactly the amount of time it will take McLaren to bring out true performance from their car, according to Mika Hakkinen.
