Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger dated for 8 years. They were in an on-and-off relationship between 2008 to 2015. The pair broke up in the summer of 2015 and blamed their busy schedules as the reason for them splitting up. Looks like Lewis is still in touch with Nicole’s family, as he recently posted a heartfelt comment on her sister’s Instagram post.

Formula 1 drivers, like many sportspersons, have to travel a lot during the season. Hopping from one racing venue to another, they have a busy life. Lewis blamed his traveling and staying away for long periods of time as the reason for his split with Nicole. Nonetheless, he misses spending time with Nicole’s sister and he let that known through Instagram.

Nicole’s sister Keala recently posted photos with her husband, Dave Leemon. Taking to Instagram, she wished Dave on his birthday with some goofy photos of them together. Lewis, in the comments, wrote, “Miss you guys. Happy holidays.”

Top Gear famed Jeremy Clarkson mocked Hamilton for it in his show. He said, “If you’re watching Lewis, we saw in the paper here that his girlfriend said, and she’s the one from Pussycat Dolls, ‘you’re going to get it tonight’.”

“That’s what she said after the race. We then saw in another paper that he’d actually done this: ‘stayed up till 9 AM’.”
