At the Miami GP this year, Elon Musk was seen at the paddock, along with Christian Horner. According to Horner, Musk showed interest in F1 and racing the RB19 with one of his electric vehicles. Though that might not be possible, Musk finds himself linked to the F1 world again, but this time with Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz.

Recently, a post by DogeDesigner on Twitter went viral, garnering 44.3M views. The post mentioned that Elon Musk had read the entire Encyclopedia at the age of 9. In the comments, someone called him a “Genius” while another appreciated his “dedicated curiosity”. But one user hilariously compared Carlos Sainz’s childhood talent to this.

A video posted by @forsainz showed a 3-year-old Sainz not just driving, but drifting a quad bike-like car in his garden. He very casually completes laps of the garden as his family cheers him on. He does all this while managing to swerve around and avoid a German Shepherd dog that is playfully running around. This video garnered over 560K views, 1K retweets, and 10K likes.

It is not very often that you see a preschooler drifting a quad bike. But being the son of 2 -time World Champion rally driver, Carlos Sainz Sr., sure rubbed off on him. One can clearly notice that he was destined to be a professional motorsport driver.

Carlos Sainz’s “Hunting” Mindset Since His Karting Days

At the young age of 11, Sainz was looking for inroads into the world of Karting. But according to him, he was “too shy” and “would get pushed around” by his peers. But it was his father, Carlos Sainz Sr. who helped him change his mindset. His father is a 2 time World Champion in Rally driving. So any advice coming from him would put Sainz on the track to success.

Sainz said, as quoted by TheNewYorkTimes, “My dad told me, ‘Look, it’s not only in life but also in any sport that you do, you either bite or you get bitten‘.” Since then, that “Animal” mindset has been instrumental in helping Sainz monitor his way through the unmerciful F1 paddock. It even got him his 1st win in 2022 at the British GP.
