From being the 7-time world champion in F1 to racing a fighter jet, Lewis Hamilton is living the dream. But did you know he once wrestled in a Mexican Lucha Libre event? The man really has done it all.

Lewis Hamilton missed out on the opportunity to act alongside Tom Cruise in Top Gun: Maverick. Lewis Hamilton fought professional Mexican wrestlers?

After winning his 2nd World Drivers’ Championship (WDC) title in 2014, Lewis Hamilton carried the same form the next year. Despite facing fierce competition from his teammate Nico Rosberg, Hamilton won the coveted title again that year.

However, before the 2015 Mexican Grand Prix, the Mercedes champion was spotted in a place where no one would expect him to be. That place was a wrestling ring.

He was ready to do the role of a janitor if that is what would get him into the movie. However, Tom Cruise offered him the role of a fighter pilot alongside him. But the 7-time champion could not commit as the shooting dates clashed with his F1 season.

Hamilton may have sadly missed out on working on his dream movie, but he now has a movie he is producing himself. And there are no half-measures when it comes to this man. Hamilton roped in Brad Pitt for the lead role in the movie. He’s also got the Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski on his project.
