Easily one of the oldest rivalries on the grid. Whenever Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso collide, we see sparks. Sometimes literally, but often it’s the war of words that ensues between the two champions that excite us. More often than not, it’s Alonso that starts taking digs at Hamilton, which always gets an appropriate reply from him. However, that does not mean Hamilton is a saint. The Brit showcased his side of the banter in a very subtle way, which the fans caught onto quickly. The Mercedes man made this comment while discussing a possible future where he would be teamed up with Alonso again.

For the unaware, Alonso was Hamilton’s first-ever teammate at McLaren back in 2007. The very first year of their partnership gave birth to the rivalry and the ongoing love-hate relationship. In fact, because of the tensions between the two, Alonso left McLaren and the two have never crossed paths again as teammates. According to his latest interview with DAZN, Hamilton predicts it will never again.

In fact, he believes it will take divine intervention or “if the stars align” to make it happen. However, his conclusion still points toward zero possibility. “If the stars align, yes, I would share a team with Fernando Alonso again, but I don’t think it will happen,” Hamilton predicts.
