After going through some particularly challenging days, McLaren promised to deliver this time. If it hadn’t been for track limit problems, Norris believes he would have been ahead of his former teammate, Carlos Sainz.

In a tweet surfacing on the internet, Norris said after qualifying, “P4 as a driver. I am complaining. I could have been P3, I made a little mistake. The last corner is a difficult corner, and I just missed the apex a little bit. It definitely cost me P3, I would have like to beat Carlos.”

The fact that Norris knew between him and Oscar Piastri, the Briton was given the preference for the latest updates, the opportunity missed might pinch the 23-year-old a little more. But why did Mclaren only give Norris the taste of the latest upgrades?
