Alperin worked as the chief of performance and aerodynamic analysis, as reported by Lasexta.com. His move for McLaren is part of a rigorous recruitment drive following the departure of James Key in the aerodynamics department and the hiring of Ferrari’s David Sanchez.

After this departure, Lawrence Stroll must be stepping out to look for the right replacements before the development of the team’s future challengers takes a hit. After toiling hard for two years, the team has come up with a challenger that has got three back-to-back podiums. With the reputation of Stroll of being a renowned investor, who has pledged to further invest following the team’s impressive performance, anticipation mounts for an imminent and momentous development.
