Much like Ferrari is facing an enormous crisis, Aston Martin, too, can be on that path soon. And the team won’t be jumping down that path because of its own mistakes, but would rather be forced by Zak Brown-led McLaren. To fix their troubles and bring back the glory as soon as possible, they are scrambling for the best of the engineers in the paddock and have set their eyes inside Lawrence Stroll’s garage.

The $3.6 billion worth Lawrence Stroll’s team is set to suffer two major setbacks. The major one of the two is the departure of Mariano Alperin, who has been signed by McLaren along with Grant Kennedy. Alperin worked as the chief of performance and aerodynamic analysis, as reported by Lasexta.com. His move for McLaren is part of a rigorous recruitment drive following the departure of James Key in the aerodynamics department and the hiring of Ferrari’s David Sanchez.

After this departure, Lawrence Stroll must be stepping out to look for the right replacements before the development of the team’s future challengers takes a hit. After toiling hard for two years, the team has come up with a challenger that has got three back-to-back podiums. With the reputation of Stroll of being a renowned investor, who has pledged to further invest following the team’s impressive performance, anticipation mounts for an imminent and momentous development.
