Chloe Stroll, sister of Aston Martin driver Lance Stroll and daughter of team owner Lawrence Stroll, couldn’t have chosen a better time to get hitched. That is because F1 is currently on a one-week hiatus before the Europe leg of the fixtures kicks off in Italy. She married her long-time boyfriend, Scotty James, the Olympic medal-winning snowboarder. The wedding was quite a starry affair as celebrities to F1 royalties descended into Venice.
Chloe and Scotty threw a party on a yacht in June last year to celebrate their engagement. Even that was a star-studded affair. The likes of Catherine Zeta-Jones, her husband and two-time Oscar winner Michael Douglas, and iconic fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, were in attendance.

The weekend break was one to cherish for F1 bosses, as the wedding of Chloe Stroll in Venice turned out to be a great escapade. The $2.9 billion worth (as per Forbes) Aston Martin mogul’s daughter threw the wedding after-party on a luxury yacht. There were perhaps some boats hired to take the guests to the yacht because that is what one of the pictures posted by former Renault boss Flavio Briatore suggests.

Accompanying Briatore was quite the F1 star cast. Mercedes boss Toto Wolff had to be there, given his affinity with Lawrence. Wolff is also an investor in Aston Martin. F1 boss Stefano Domenicali was on the list of attendees as well, dressed in a classic tuxedo like Wolff. Toto’s wife and currently the director of the all-female championship organized by F1 Academy, Susie Wolff, was in attendance too. Given how close Scotty is with Daniel Ricciardo (perhaps because of their Aussie-to-Aussie connection), the Honey Badger was there as well.
It is possible that Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen gave the wedding a miss, though. That is because Hamilton made headlines for attending the LA Lakers v Golden State Warriors game. LeBron James’ side won the game narrowly to seal a spot in the Western Conference finals. Verstappen, on the other hand, participated in the virtual 24-hour Nurburgring race.

Catherine Zeta-Jones once again arrived with Michael Douglas. This time around, the pair weren’t alone. Their daughter Carys, 20, and son Dylan, 22 accompanied them as well.
Catherine carried off a $989 tangerine Michael Costello jumpsuit, as per Daily Mail’s report. Carys, who celebrated her birthday last month, wore a $3,435 Alberta Ferretti gown. Former Victoria’s Secret Angel Taylor Marie Hill wore a V-neck tank top with matching pants to the after-party.
