The results are getting better for Max Verstappen. After a rough start to the season with the reliability issues surrounding his car, things have gone steadily up for the 24-year-old. His car showed pace, and he also showed his quality during the inaugural Miami Grand Prix. On the other side, however, Charles Leclerc and Ferrari have lost momentum.
The Prancing Horse came into the 2022 season as favorites and their Golden Boy dominated the first 3 races. However, Verstappen has risen to the occasion, leaving the Italian team pondering over the results. Many expect the battle between the two teams to go right down to the wire.

But, Red Bull has an edge over Ferrari in terms of pace, without a doubt. Ferrari, however, are ready to explore new solutions. One of them is their new upgrade in place for Barcelona. And Leclerc believes the team can bounce back in Spain after some patchy performances.
Charles Leclerc is confident in team Ferrari
A P2 result in Miami might look good on the eye. However, Leclerc and Ferrari know Red Bull are right back in contention after 5 races. The Monegasque believes the Bulls have improved but revealed he has complete faith in his team to shift the momentum back to their side.
He said, “Of course, the Red Bull have improved. I think we all expected them to make progress. They are a very strong team and we are aware of that. So it’s not a surprise.”
“But the worry doesn’t win us over: I have confidence in my team, and I’m sure they will bring improvements to Barcelona that will bring us back in front.”
The Spanish Grand Prix could be an important event for both teams. The Reds, with their new upgrades, will look to come out on top against a determined Red Bull.

The gap between the two contenders for the championship has been narrowed down to just 19 points. At the same time, the Monegasque has confidence in his team and feels the upgrades will take them back to the form they showed at the start of the season.
