The entire grid got an early break from racing just after three races in the suffocated 23-race calendar. All the drivers spent the three-week break in their own way. However, whereas most drivers were taking their minds off of racing by catching up on their hobbies, Pierre Gasly was hard at work, even on holiday. The Frenchman showcased that in his recent Instagram update. For most, his dubious practices might have gone under the radar. However, a set of attentive fans caught on and pointed out Gasly’s overtaking moves outside the track.

Gasly, as he often does, posted a photo dump on his Instagram of his activities during the three weeks away from the track. In fact, this photo dump trend has inspired some of his fellow drivers as well. Coming back to the topic, the random collection of photos featured his family, girlfriend, and his pastime activities, among others. The dump also conjured a loveable response from his girlfriend, Kika. However, one photo in the collection stood out for the fans.

In this photo, Gasly looks ready to be gearing up for a sport far more dangerous than Formula 1. A sport that features a similar high-speed thrill and dangers to one’s life all in an attempt to conquer the ultimate goal.

The fourth photo of the carousel that Gasly posted, the photo features him with a broom between his legs. The green traditional broom reminded fans of the popular fictional book and novice franchise Harry Potter.

The broom and the way it’s stuck between Gasly’s legs made fans decode his tripod nickname theory.
