Lewis Hamilton once said, ” I think my style is definitely urban chic. I love mixing street style with high-end luxury brands, like Gucci, for example. Quite fun.” Following in Lewis Hamilton’s footsteps Lando Norris and Mclaren have decided to collaborate with a luxury brand worth $1,800,000,000. The 25-year-old looks at boosting his interests beyond F1. What is the brand that Mclaren has collaborated with? What are Norris’ plans for his expansion of interest?
McLaren is celebrating their 60th Anniversary this year by collaborating with TUMI. TUMI has released a new spring collection in partnership with Mclaren which includes backpacks and other travel luggage accessories. The special collection begins at $275 for the small crossbody bag and goes northward from there. Lando Norris is the face of this new collection as the Briton tries to expand his horizon beyond F1 and into the fashion world.
Leaning a thing or two from his fellow Briton Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris expressed his curiosity about collaborating with a fashion brand. The 25-year-old complimented the seven-time-world champion on his dressing sense when asked who the most stylish F1 driver is. Norris appreciated his style while showing an interest in working with a stylist this year. The McLaren driver wants to feature different fits throughout the season next year, very much like what Hamilton does every race. However, Norris did confess his styling vision isn’t the best.

According to rollingstone.com, Lando Norris said “Lewis [Hamilton] is definitely number one. That’s for sure. Zhou Guanyu — he’s up there from a style point of view. I actually was thinking of doing some stuff this year, where I work with a stylist or different [fashion] companies. Maybe I’ll do it more next year to kind of have different fits throughout the season. I don’t have much of a plan on what to wear and I don’t have the best idea and vision of clothing style, so I don’t know really how to put things together very well.”
It will take something very special from Lando Norris to compete with Lewis Hamilton at a fashion face-off. Valtteri Bottas already tried matching Hamilton’s style, in a very different way from what we can imagine. The 25-year-old does not only look to improve his fashion sense but is also critical of his performances on the track.

Lando Norris believes nothing affects his motivation much. He’s always motivated and trusts his team with it. However, the Briton did suggest that he is very critical of his performances and pushes forward for excellence. He accepts if he had done a bad job even if it leads to a podium. This self-criticism propels Norris forward toward excellence.
According to Motorsportweek.com, Lando Norris said, “Any driver on the grid wants to have confidence in the team. I don’t think anything necessarily changes my motivation. I’m motivated every weekend to do the best job I can. One big driver is that I’m very critical of my own performances every weekend, when I’ve done a shit job, I’ll say I’ve done a shit job. Even if I’ve [finished] P2 or P1, you know, I’ll still be a guy that’s not happy being P1 because I’m like ‘I didn’t do a good job.”
