The Mercedes empire that led to the dominating success is collapsing. Recently, their motorsport strategy director, James Vowles, left for Williams. Also, Angela Cullen, Hamilton’s performance trainer, and physio left this year leaving a huge void at Mercedes and with the Briton. F1 pundit Rob Kamphues suggested that Lewis Hamilton should follow them and leave Mercedes to join a title-challenging team if he wants to end his career on a high.

It will be probably too late in terms of fighting for a championship, but we can still turn some heads hopefully.”
