Spanish speedster Carlos Sainz didn’t have the best season in 2022. Even though the Ferrari star driver started the season on a wonderful note, he didn’t quite pull off in the end. However, with a few weeks to go for the new season, the Spaniard is well aware of the primary quality he needs to have if he has to get his career back on track.
After the hard 2022 season, Sainz is said to have learned his lessons on inconsistency and now looks forward to making amends for the same. Talking about this, Carlos Sainz shared in a report published by F1, “But I’ve learned a lot.”

“I’m proud of the progress I’ve done inside the car, with my engineers, the way that we managed to turn my pace around. And yeah, I’ll make sure next year we are back to being the consistent Carlos of 2021 and get good results.”
Despite starting his year well last season, Sainz finished the year in P5 with 246 points, just six points ahead of Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton. Multiple crashes and reliability issues acted as a hindrance to Sainz’s season as he failed to make a mark despite having the beast F1-75 with him.

This time, the Spaniard made sure that he didn’t hype up the new season challenger until it was well prepared and ready for the fight. He not only decided to keep quiet but also maintained secrecy while talking to the media about the new car.
So much so that Sainz took a vow of silence on the Ferrari 2023 challenger. About this, he said, “Yes, I’ve been following the progress with the new car for several months. But I won’t say a word about the car until I see the others on the track.”
