The world of Formula 1 is a dog-eat-dog kind of world. By virtue of its nature, the sport does not allow teammates to be friends. This is one of the biggest factors that the teams cannot control. However, despite their struggles with their cars in recent history, McLaren has aced this aspect of the sport. Do you want to know how they do it? We cannot be sure but McLaren’s team-building exercises, like the YouTube videos, play a small part in it. These casual fun videos subtly but surely play a part in team building as well as morale boosting. So right on cue, McLaren has launched a trailer for their next video featuring the new teammates, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.

The Papaya team started this tradition as far back as when Carlos Sainz was driving for the team. The videos then featured Daniel Ricciardo as well alongside Norris, which even roped in Gordon Ramsay once. One factor among these pairings was the healthy relationship between the teammates. So right after a miserable start to the season, McLaren teased the next edition of their YouTube series.

In the teaser, we can see Norris and Piastri both engaging in some behind-the-counter activities. The McLaren men are trying their hand at mixology, in a video that is sponsored by $6.5 billion beverage company Jack Daniels.

In the video, we can even hear Piastri say things like, “Things can hit the fan”. Whereas Norris’ snippets are just a collection of sounds after he spills the liquid in his hands.

Things on the championship front couldn’t be worse for the Woking-based outfit. The team has collected a measly 12 points from the opening three races of the season. However, after a three-week-long gap in racing activities, McLaren will be hoping to return stronger. Until then, the team is carefully washing the memories of the past by creating excitement among the fans for the video.

The fans are demanding a full video as soon as possible as there is genuine excitement among them.

This excitement among the fans could be stemming from the lack of positivity from the race results.

Despite all the positive comments, the teaser did receive a few negative reactions as well.
