When not setting the track ablaze with his blisteringly fiery speed, Max Verstappen has quite an array of activities he likes to indulge in. Among them is racing on the sim, an activity he cannot get enough of. The Dutchman even participated in the virtual 24 hours of Le Mans this year. Apart from this, he is an avid FIFA player who was once rated among the 25 best players in the world. But little did we know about another skill he possesses and rates himself so highly that he thinks he is worthy enough to perform with the best in the biz.

Cirque du Soleil, one of the largest entertainment groups in the world, houses the best artists in the world and performs on five continents. An employer of over 4000 people across 40 countries, the circus generates around $810 million each year. Forbes, in 2015, reported the sale of the entertainment group for a sum of approximately $1.5 billion.

Max thinks he is good enough to join the group. Well not for no reason, obviously. The Dutchman possesses some juggling skills that he intends to put on display on the grand stage. In a recent TikTok video posted by team Red Bull Racing, the defending champion juggled some balls as the camera followed him around. Even before starting, Max confidently declared, “If Cirque du Soleil needs someone, I’m their guy.”

Funnily enough, on the post Red Bull put out on Twitter, Cirque du Soleil’s official account commented, “We’re ready when you are!”

While we’re sure the defending F1 champ is a good juggler, he surely has better chances of making it big in the gaming world post-retirement.

When Max Verstappen shocked Christian Horner by winning a race shortly after a 14-hour FIFA marathon session

Many F1 drivers have their own pre-race rituals. Some like to listen to high bpm music to pump themselves up before getting behind the wheel, others like to be left alone to concentrate. Max is a bit different, though. He proudly carries his own custom-designed PlayStation to each race venue. What is even more surprising is that instead of warming up, he plays FIFA before hitting the track.

Red Bull’s official website reported, “his dedication to the game reached such heights that in January 2019—playing the handle crgboy007—he was ranked 21st in the world.”

“The F1 champ has throttled back since then, but he’s still such an avid player that he travels with his own personal PlayStation game case made by custom builder JZ Design. And at last year’s U.S. Grand Prix, Red Bull team boss Christian Horner revealed that Max had spent 14 hours across the weekend playing his favorite soccer game—and then won the F1 race.”
