Rain makes any Grand Prix weekend exciting. It provides the drivers with a challenge and teams to bring their A-game to social media. And, for the Turkish Grand Prix, Williams did exactly that.

As they were getting ready for a rain-soaked FP3, the Grove-based outfit prepared a boat race in the pits with their drivers, George Russell and Nicholas Latifi.

As the two drivers were getting ready for the final practice session at the Istanbul Park in Turkey. Williams decided to have some fun, as the rain provided them to come up with a fun challenge.

In the pitlane, as drivers were getting ready to zip around the Turkish track, Williams decided to have a race of their own; the wet weather created the perfect opportunity to have a boat race. The team used a picture of Russell and Latifi with the aim of creating a boat exciting race.

How well is the Williams duo performing on track in Turkey?

Russell and Latifi are hoping to have another good weekend. The team has secured a few points on a number of occasions this season and aims to do the same this race weekend as well.

In the first practice session on Friday, Russell found himself to be the eleventh fastest, while his Canadian teammate was down in fifteenth.

However, instead of improving on their times, Russell could only manage to be the eighteenth fastest, while Latifi was ahead of him in the seventeenth.

Nevertheless, the two drivers hope to pick up the pace in the intense qualifying session later on Saturday and wish to bag some more points for their Grove-based team.
