It’s been nearly a month since Williams F1 announced that they were terminating their title sponsorship deal with ROKiT. A video clip posted by the Williams F1 official Twitter handle had Nicholas Latifi, George Russell, and reserve driver Jack Aitken. The three of them were then shown pictures of the new livery. All of them reacted in a similar way.
Nicholas Latifi thought the livery looks sharp, Russell that it looked smart, while Aitken said that he really liked it and that it looked fresh. Latifi ends the driver’s reactions with a nod of approval. The short video clip ends with the time Williams will officially launch its livery i.e at 9 AM BST on the 26th of June.
Williams have yet to officially reveal who their new title sponsor would be. However, Formula One’s official website has a picture of Russell and Latifi wearing a livery emblazoned with Lavazza. Lavazza is an Italian Coffee brand who’s logo is dark blue which coincidentally fits in well with Williams’ classic color. So one could expect the FW43 car to have the Grove-based outfit’s classic white and dark blue color scheme.

Meanwhile, Williams’ former title sponsor, ROKiT is reportedly teaming up with Mercedes. Over there it will join the likes of Petronas, INEOS, Bose, and Monster energy to sponsor the Silver Arrows. Mercedes boss, Toto Wolff has stated that the aim for them is to be profitable like NBA and NFL teams.
With the season set to kick-off in 10 days, Williams will hope they can score more points than they did in the last two seasons combined. Fans will hope that Russell and Latifi get a better car than the one, poor Kubica and Russell had to put up with last year.
