Lewis Hamilton won in Texas in 2017, bringing him one step closer to his fourth world title. He lit up a cigar in celebration of his victory. The British athlete who was expected to finish fifth or higher in Mexico in order to win the title that year arrived at the Mercedes hospitality room after putting on yet another superb performance in a cloud of Cuban smoke. The Billion dollar man was inspired by Will Smith’s movie to celebrate his win.
He said, “I guess it’s like that movie Independence Day and they had a cigar to celebrate victory,” Hamilton said. “I thought it was kind of neat, but they taste disgusting.” To celebrate the triumph, Hamilton went to Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar with his mother Carmen, brother Nic, and Canadian celebrity King Bach.

The Billion dollar man has recently opened up on what his family ambitions are. The Mercedes driver has described his long-term plans for starting a family. He said, “There’s no doubt that I love what I do. I really do love the challenge every weekend, how we, as a team, show up every weekend.”
“There’s a reason why I have as much energy as I do, that I’m still able to train with the intensity that I do and have the dedication that I do. At some stage, I will want to have a family and that will be my full focus, but right now, being in Formula 1 with Mercedes is it,” he added.
