Everyone in F1 knows that most rivalries run deep off track just as on track. However, no matter how big the rivalry, they are all unified by their love for racing. One such rivalry is between Red Bull team boss Christian Horner and his Mercedes counterpart Toto Wolff.

With the 2022 season kicking off this weekend, the 2 teams will meet on track for the first time since the controversial season finale in 2021.

Christian Horner speaks his mind about Toto Wolff

The two team principles currently have one of the brutal rivalries in the world of F1. Horner and Toto have been going at it hammer and tongs in the past few seasons. The 2 locked into insane title fights every year. Moreover, both of them are also not afraid of having a go at each other from time to time.

In his recent interview with Daily Mail, Red Bull Team Boss commented on Toto, while expressing how he and Toto are different from each other. He said, “He has a financial background”. He also goes on to question Toto’s passion for the sport, asking “Will he be here in 10 years?”

He accused the Mercedes boss of being more worried about the riches of racing than racing itself. However, he also said, “I have no personal issue with Toto. It’s always fun to tease him a little.” Surely, this is one battle that never fails to deliver.

The 2022 season’s here!

The 2022 season opener is finally here. The Bahrain Free Practice tomorrow will kick off this much anticipated season. The teams are all raring to go with the fans itching for the reds lights to go off.
