The Monaco Grand Prix was once again a heartbreak for Charles Leclerc. Of course, he completed the race for the first time, but he could have also won his home race. A Ferrari strategy blunder meant he had to settle for 4th as he further lost ground on the championship.

While the Monegasque did not land on the podium, his teammate Carlos Sainz did. The 27-year-old ended up P2 and had a week to remember after his recent struggles. However, he also had the chance to win the race. Nicholas Latifi held him up for over 3 seconds during his out-lap from the pits, and as a result, he finished behind Perez.

Meanwhile, Ferrari posted a video of Carlos winking with a cheeky caption. It read, “Fact: At least one @scuderiaferrari driver can wink.” As fans stormed the comments section, Leclerc himself took a pop in the comments. The four-time Grand Prix winner wrote, “I will get to that level of winking one day, I’m sure.”
