One would imagine that starting a Grand Prix from pole position and clinching a podium finish would earn Carlos Sainz all the praise and admiration from his team. However, for the second time this year, the Ferrari has stolen the spotlight from its young star who put in his blood, sweat, and tears to help the team achieve glory.

The Belgium GP was arguably one of the tougher weekends for the Scuderia this season, and all its hopes rested on Sainz; given that Leclerc sustained an engine penalty. Despite the hardships of the F1-75, the Spaniard fought the car at every corner and after a gruesome 44-lap race, he held on to P3 to help the team achieve consolation in a weekend full of woes.
Rather than commending the stellar efforts of the 24-year-old on the podium ceremony, the Italian camp opted to sit out of the triumph of its driver. Even though it is a baffling act by the prancing horses, it should not surprise the fans as it’s a re-run of the British GP.
🚨| Part of the Ferrari team (Leclerc’s side) were so unhappy at the race finale in Silverstone…
…that they initially REFUSED to take part in podium and team celebrations after Carlos Sainz’ win.

Earlier this season, Sainz grabbed his maiden pole position, which he converted into his maiden victory. After 8 years in F1, he finally got to stand on the top step of the podium at Silverstone, but a part of the Ferrari camp refused to applaud the accolade achieved by the Spanish racing driver.

At Spa, the paddock witnessed a similar situation, with no red uniforms present to credit the success of the driver racing with number 55. This set up a spur in the F1 world, with Ferrari being put under fire for failing to acknowledge Sainz’s efforts.
Ferrari criticized for its off-track antics
The Ferrari car has arguably been the performance benchmark this season, thus, making a podium finish an easy feat for its pilot. Nonetheless, at Belgium, the car failed to come to life and was sliding going into every corner and hanging to the podium position was a long shot, but Sainz brought home the silverware.
The reaction of the Ferrari when he crossed the chequered flag downplayed his triumph, and the F1 Twitter is vocal that he deserved a bigger tap on his back from the prancing horses.
Remember when Carlos won his first race in F1 at Silverstone earlier this year and all of 5 people came to cheer him at the chequered flag (one being his cousin/manager and one team photographer)? Ferrari have a history of failure and disrespect with ALO, RAI, SEB, and now SAI. https://t.co/aANzHQvIqJ

what else has carlos to do to be finally seen as a respectable driver for ferrari? why does he have to beg for some little validation? why is he not enough? i could cry honestly.

It angers me that people in Ferrari take their anger on Carlos when the truth is that today they failed both drivers with those horrendous strategies. One of them had the damn luck of being in the podium. Least they could do is be there for him pic.twitter.com/MaBu8cGjP0

i’m not a ferrari fan but i’m just seeing that there wasn’t many people of the ferrari team celebrating with carlos and that shit is LOW. the team is literally failing in every aspect and i can understand the disappointment or rage but you don’t pull that stunt on your drivers.

it’s crazy how ferrari treats carlos. i’m sorry if he’s not the golden boy but he’s the main reason we’re still second in that constructor

I genuinely cannot believe ferrari weren’t there to celebrate Carlos’ podium…

In 2021, Carlos Sainz jumped ship from McLaren to wear the famous red racing suit and partnered with Charles Leclerc, the driver renowned as the Ferrari golden boy.

At the time, the paddock speculated Sainz to play the wingman role for the Monegasque, but the Spaniard has his eyes on a world title and is pushing flat out to realize his dream.
A ferrari merece ir é pro fundo do grid. Os cara não estão nem aí pro Carlos, a bolha deles é só o Charles. Uns merdas mesmo, não vão nem comemorar o pódio do piloto deles… equipe estranha que não apoia os pilotos https://t.co/mejVXNMyFT
