The F1 racing contract signing every racer spans for a particular period. However, the rearrangement of the drivers and team members takes place after the expiry of each contract. Further, every racer wishes to run for the renowned and dominating team in F1. However, in the 2021 season, Carlos Sainz will clinch on that opportunity.

The Sainz’ are racing since the past generation. Carlos Sainz belongs to the second generation in his family, after Sainz Sr., who is into racing.

Carlos Sainz commenced racing for Red Bull and Toro Rosso in 2013 as a test driver. Following that, in 2015, he began racing for Scuderia Toro Rosso along with Max Verstappen, the debutant.

In 2017, the Spaniard further signed a contract with Renault for one year. He claimed the seat of Jolyon Palmer. In addition, his teammate in Renault was Nico Hulkenberg. Subsequently, in the field, he could never catch up to his teammate, Hulkenberg. It was always some cockpit or engine issues that pulled him down the score chart. Further, his term in the Renault F1 team was rocky too.

Sainz jumped ship to the McLaren F1 team in 2019 with a contract of one year. Subsequently, in his tenure in this team, he competed with vigor. All witnessed the spark of knowledge about racing he amasses in his stay in McLaren. With consistency in racing form and fleeting speed, he became a prominent racer in F1.

With his strategies, speed, and tactics, he gained place over several other efficient racers of other dominant racing teams. Subsequently, for two consecutive years, 2019 to 2020, he ranked sixth in the F1 standing.

Ferrari Signing Carlos Sainz

His stay in McLaren proved him to be a magnificent driver. In his term of one year, his exemplary merit came under the notice of various notable teams.

The Italian Giants, Scuderia Ferrari, observed his skills and expertise in the grid. His performances, well acknowledged by Ferrari, wanted to sign him up for the 2021 season.

Subsequently, the Italian team-Ferrari had a tough season in 2020. Amidst the global pandemic situation, the team embarked upon a decision to sign a more consistent racer in their team. However, the team’s primary intention was to create a more challenging environment between the two racers.

Sainz’s contract will allow him to wear the red racing attire for two consecutive years. Subsequently, he topped the drivers’ choice list of Ferrari. As the team’s relation was on the verge of the end with Vettel, the next potential racer for the team was Carlos Sainz.

They signed him to race for the team as Leclerc’s teammate by noting his earlier performances and capabilities. According to the team, the Spaniard has knowledge of speed and strategies in-built in him. Having a father who has aced the World Rally Championship twice, the son picked up the racing trait well, too.

The team considers Sainz to be a very promising racer in regard to his earlier endeavors. Further, the team expects that Sainz will work efficiently to get the Constructors’ title for the team. Conversely, the attitude and integrity of the 26-year-old racer impressed the team authorities colossally.

After facing certain difficulties with the hood and chassis, the racer stuck by the team and strived to dominate the race. He further, with his high determination, led his former team McLaren to stand in the sixth position. The team aims to keep both racers who have the same chances to help the team dominate in the grid.

The trying nature of the racer will further help the team claim a convincing rank in the race in the 2021 season. The exigent partnership of the two young racers will also bear fruitful results for the team.
