Liam Lawson recently secured his first points in F1 in the Singapore GP. The Red Bull prodigy is making himself known in the absence of Daniel Ricciardo. With little to no expectations, the 21-year-old is definitely filling the shoes of the veteran Australian. He claimed P10 in qualifying at the Marina Bay Street Circuit ahead of Max Verstappen. While his exploits on the track have been impressive, there are also reports of a special person in Lawson’s life.
The AlphaTauri fill won the Toyota Racing Series in 2018. His performances also prove why he is the Red Bull Junior team’s best and brightest prospect. The rising star in F1 was in a relationship with Charlotte Miller long before he made his F1 debut.

As revealed by GH Gossip, Lawson started dating his gorgeous girlfriend at the start of 2019. However, the New Zealander’s girlfriend is more than what meets the eye. Charlotte Miller is a combination of beauty and brains and is a law student studying forensic and criminological psychology.
There is little to no information about Miller apart from education. In fact, the couple likes to keep things private. Fans had been able to keep up with the couple through social media, but that ended after they commemorated their first anniversary in 2020. There have been no posts from Lawson about his girlfriend from that point forward.

However, in doing so, he effectively pushed out his mother team’s main man, Max Verstappen. Many joked about and asked Lawson if he had gotten in trouble for pushing Verstappen out of Q3 in Singapore. The New Zealander sportingly even replied, “Not yet”. However, little did he know he was going to be punished for upsetting the Red Bull man.
Soon after Lawson converted his best qualifying result into his first points in F1, he faced the harsh reality of the sport. AlphaTauri revealed they will extend the contracts of both Yuki Tsunoda and Ricciardo for the 2024 season. This effectively will push Lawson’s full rookie season by a couple of years. Now with no seat in F1 for the 2024 season, which could’ve been his after his recent performances, Lawson will get back to competing in the 2023 Super Formula Championship, perhaps.
