‘F1’ co-produced by Lewis Hamilton, and starring Brad Pitt is under immense scrutiny. Apple Studios’ new F1 movie’s teaser has sparked controversies. First, it was the title of the movie that annoyed the fans to the extent of taunting and now it’s the teaser that is triggering mixed emotions among the F1 enthusiasts. Pointing out a particular dialogue in the sneak peek, fans and experts are concerned about a very serious mistake.
Brad Pitt was at Silverstone for the title and teaser announcement. Fans were initially excited, but soon disappointment dawned upon them. The ‘very authentic’ movie title was an instant turn-off for the supporters rooting for the film and next was the teaser. Despite, excellent cinematography and actual moments from Grand Prix races, it was a total flop amongst fans. It seems, that Lewis Hamilton and Brad Pitt, have ignored a major motorsport concern.
Flinging away the most important regulations set by FIA themselves; the filmmakers have blundered. What seems like a ‘cool’ dialogue is worrisome for the audience. Brad Pitt’s character asks another to build a combat car. When asked, “How am I supposed to do that safe?” Pitt replies, “Who said anything about safe?” This raises concerns about overlooking FIA’s safety measures in filmmaking. How could Lewis Hamilton ignore this too?

Lewis Hamilton had insisted that the FIA implement strict safety measures
Lewis Hamilton is a leading advocate for enhanced safety measures in F1 and motorsport overall. He has always emphasized the need for more and improved regulations to make sure the drivers are safe in the race. F1 is a fierce sport, which has seen deaths on the track due to fatal accidents. From Ayrton Senna to the most recent Jules Bianchi, all the fallen racers are a reminder that only prior precautions can protect lives. Hamilton has called for stringent measures to prioritize driver health and safety, particularly in challenging climates like Singapore and Saudi Arabia.
So now, the question is, how did Hamilton and his movie team overlook a serious mistake? This couldn’t have been something intentional, given how stern Hamilton is about the safety and security of the drivers. This has left the fans perplexed. And how soon can the filmmakers fix this, is another concern. This teaser could also send misleading messages to someone new to the sport. Such notions could trigger problematic beliefs like “F1 isn’t safe” or “They don’t care about safety.”
