Verstappen is already the most successful Dutch driver in the sport’s history and he has just begun. However, credit where credit is due because without the guidance of Jos Verstappen, Max might not have been the driver he is today. Jos used all his experience as an ex-F1 driver to get his son ready for the premier class. But can he do it again?

A look at Blue Jaye and Jason Jaxx, the half-siblings of Max Verstappen

Jos Verstappen has been an incredible influence on Max, his firstborn. Jos became a father to Max from his first marriage with Sophie Kumpen, an ex-racing driver. Sophie Kumpen also gave birth to a girl, Victoria, their second child. Victoria also walked on the same path as her father and brother but did not continue racing after karting.

Jos and Sophie Kumpen, who got married in 1996, split up in 2008 after 12 years. After the two split up, Jos met and married Kelly van der Waal in 2014.

Sadly, the marriage did not last as long as Jos’s first as the pair annulled their marriage in 2017. Although, in 2014, Kelly van der Waal gave birth to her first and Jos’s third child. Jos became a father yet again to a daughter named Blue Jaye Verstappen in 2014.

Another prospective driver from the Verstappen family? Perhaps not as the young girl is still just an admirer of her elder brother’s achievements and isn’t walking in his footsteps.

An overjoyed Jos shared the news on his Instagram with a photo and a caption welcoming Max’s half-brother. The caption read, “We are happy to let you know that our little boy Jason Jaxx is born. Super proud of my wife and mother of our baby boy.”
