The F1 summer break is here. The most dreadful time for an F1 fan after the winter break as there’s no racing for about a month. Ricciardo on the other hand joined AlphaTauri recently and is determined and focused. Daniel Ricciardo skips the holiday fever to focus on the bigger goal as Max Verstappen and Co. sip Pina Coladas. What is the Honey Badger focusing on?

Nonetheless, for the drivers, it’s a much-awaited break. With the F1 schedule being so cramped, the drivers hardly get any time for themselves and/or to spend with their families and relax. Max Verstappen, George Russell, and many other drivers have been posting photos from their holidays around the world. Daniel Ricciardo however, was just back from a 6-month long break. What is he doing during this summer break? 

Daniel Ricciardo left McLaren to take some time off and do things that he couldn’t do while racing in F1. But now that he’s back behind the wheel, the Australian needs to make up for the form, performance, and fitness lost over the last six months. As a result, with the likes of Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz on holiday, Ricciardo is in the gym working on fitness.

According to @FastestPitStop’s Tweet, Daniel Ricciardo said “While everyone’s sipping Pina Coladas, I’ll be in the gym. Obviously, my race fitness is not what all the other drivers is. So when shutdown is on I’m going to use that just to train and, of course, try and enjoy a little bit of a holiday. But I’ve had a holiday for six months!”

Having to work out doesn’t really sound fun when the other drivers are sipping Pina Coladas. However, Ricciardo did mention that he’ll enjoy a little bit of the holiday. And yes he did. Let’s see what the HoneyBadger was up to. 

Daniel Ricciardo spotted in Ibiza with Max Verstappen’s Best Friend

The Prime Daniel Ricciardo that we know about has the skills to take on Max Verstappen. The Australian actually beat the Dutchman during Verstappen’s first 1.5 seasons with Red Bull. While the championship cannot be borrowed, the Honey Badger seems to have borrowed Max Verstappen’s best friend as the two were spotted in Ibiza. 

Ricciardo was spotted with the Dutch music sensation Martin Garrix and his mentor Tiesto. Martin Garriz uploaded some photos to Instagram where Ricciardo can be seen sitting with him and Tiesto for a meal as they’re all dressed casually. The caption to the post is “CRAZY day in Ibiza!! thanks for partying in the rain ❤️ @ushuaiaibiza”
