The proceedings to the 2022 FIA Formula One World Championship season have officially begun, as teams are starting to announce the launch dates of their F1 challengers. Over the years, it has mostly been Haas that kick-started the launch date reveal, with other teams catching up in the succeeding days.
However, quite unusually, four teams have made the much-awaited announcement while Haas are still existing as spectators. This time around, it ended up being the latest F1 entrants, Aston Martin; The British outfit became the first team on the grid to reveal the launch date of their 2022 F1 car, AMR22.

Aston Martin will launch the AMR22 on February 10. Only a day later on February 11, McLaren will be revealing their challenger, the MCL36. And as always, the livery is likely to be a combination of ‘Papaya’ Orange and Blue, much like the 2021 livery.
But, although impractical, how amazing would it be if McLaren ended up revealing the MCL36 with the special Gulf Oil livery which last featured in Monaco last year. Well, unfortunately, that doesn’t seem possible as of now, but, again, who knows? We’ve had way too many surprises in the past that caught us off-guard.
Meanwhile, for Aston Martin, it is likely that they will stick with the glossy dark green livery. But, the only difference is they might lose the Pink this time around amid rumors of partners BWT moving to Alpine.

Barely a week after the launch of MCL36, Ferrari will portray their 2022 challenger to the entire world on February 17. And again, a day later, title favorites Mercedes will reveal the much-anticipated W13 which is likely to sport the usual Silver-Blue color for the first time since the 2020 launch event.
The list ends here. February has almost arrived, and only four teams have announced the launch dates. Meanwhile, Alfa Romeo Racing, Red Bull Racing, Alpine, Scuderia AlphaTauri, Williams, and Haas are yet to reveal the same.
