From a lap away in 2021 to completely falling back on his pursuit in 2022, the eighth championship title still remains elusive for Lewis Hamilton. As things stand, 2023 isn’t looking good for the seven-time world champion as well. With the Bahrain GP qualifying session serving as proof, the Mercedes W14 was off pace. Despite the undesired result, the boss Toto Wolff has made a strong stance and backed Hamilton’s pursuit of the eighth.
The Mercedes world champion went 6th fastest in the qualifying ahead of his teammate. Hamilton will start in sixth behind old foe Fernando Alonso in the upcoming race. Sixth place on the starting grid is not what Mercedes is aiming for and wants to get the W14 competitive enough to win races. If we are to believe Wolff’s comments to Motorsport.com, the Austrian boss will do everything in his power to make that happen.

Wolff has often put his faith in Hamilton even for his activities away from the track. So naturally, the boss is putting all his faith and efforts into the Brit to succeed on the track as well.
As quoted by Motorsport, Wolff said, “Lewis sees the situation the same way we do. We’re going to help Lewis win his 8th world title. If I have to push him on the track to win his eighth championship, that’s what I’ll do. I’ll do whatever it takes.”
Mercedes was 0.650 behind the pole sitter Max Verstappen. However, despite the unsatisfactory qualifying result, Wolff revealed the Brackley team is constantly developing ideas to get the car further up the grid.
Wolff is putting his faith in his team and Hamilton to deliver after the conceptual changes. Moreover, this trust goes both ways.

How can I help you?’, so that you have more time with your wife, husband or partner, children, so that you come to work and are happier and want to try harder?”
