Nico Rosberg was Lewis Hamilton‘s best friend before they turned into arch-enemies. Being a Sky Sports analyst now, he never shies away to take the shine off of the 7x champion’s glories. Yesterday, despite it being a miscommunication between the team and drivers, he was making public declarations as to why Lewis should apologize. And fans have now decided to remind him of the identical past that may give us Déjà vu.
There is an unsaid cosmic connection between the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and the two Silver Arrows colliding. During the qualifying for the Spanish GP on Saturday, the two Mercedes being driven by Lewis Hamilton and George Russell collided. While Russell self admittedly was taking a tow from Carlos Sainz, Hamilton was taking one from him and this saw the two Silver Arrows brush each other, damaging Lewis’ car and Russell’s Q3 hopes. Nico Rosberg, who is a 2016 F1 World champion and 2015 Spanish GP winner, was also once involved in such an incident.
Lewis Hamilton arrived at Mercedes to partner with his long-time best friend, Nico. However, as the fights for the title grew intense, the animosity manifest on and off track. One such incident was when the two Mercedes collided in Turn 4 of the circuit in 2016. And this past has been highlighted by fans when Nico asked Lewis to apologize yesterday.

Fans tear Nico Rosberg apart over the Lewis Hamilton comment
Yesterday Nico said, “So George apologized, which I think is right. But Lewis also needs to apologize because if Lewis goes through, George’s lap is done because then Lewis is right in front and George is stuck behind him and his lap will be ruined. And this is his last try to get into Q3.” And when Formula 1’s official account announced the arrival of the 2015 Spanish GP champ, fans let all hell loose.
