Surprising everyone, the German took the position despite starting from the back of the grid. However Magnussen’s race is over, and fans are furious with Daniel Ricciardo.

The junior Haas driver shrugged off engine issues and displayed a stunning drive. Talking post-sprint race, he said, “We had a good opening lap which definitely helped bring us into position.”
Schumacher continued, “But then we ended up having a small issue with the engine. So, it would be interesting to see what is it exactly. But yeah, we’ll find out how much pace we lost through it.”

If he happens to win some crucial points for the team today, the consensus might just tip in his favor. It is pertinent to mention Nico Hulkenberg is in the hunt to replace Mick in 2023.
