The Canadian GP saw quite a bit of action take place. Leaving the battle for P1 aside, there were some stellar overtakes in the midfield. Though McLaren left Montreal with a mixed bag of insights, their drivers showcased some great racecraft. And one instance that stood out for them was Lando Norris’ overtake of his teammate, Oscar Piastri. But his reaction to the overtake on Twitter is what got the Papaya army all excited.

In F1, usually, overtakes between teammates are not encouraged. Because it can prove to be unfortunate and damaging for the team. The crash between Mercedes teammates, Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton, in the 2016 Spanish GP, is a prime example of this. But Norris’ overtake was a safe one and did not affect the team points because the drivers just changed positions.

Though Norris got a rather harsh 5-second penalty that dragged him from P9 to P13, such highlights show that he’s still got it in him. The only thing he needs is for the team to upgrade the MCL60 so he can once again start flying on the racetrack.
