The reigning champions Red Bull have been the headliners of this season for good reasons and bad. From the Christian Horner Controversy to their alchemist of 20 years, Adrian Newey leaving the team. Moreso, with the second seat in the team up for grabs, the F1 fans are sitting on the edge of their couches as the biggest recruitment of silly season 2024 can happen anytime now. And it did!! Yesterday, the team began teasing its fans about an upcoming announcement. Today they declared the much-awaited news but fans aren’t too happy with it.

Red Bull has seen unprecedented dominance in F1 with the magical duo of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez. Sergio played an ultimate wingman to woo the championship trophy to his teammate Max. Last year the team won the constructors’ championship and a 1-2 in the drivers’ championship. Probably owing to this glorious past, the team decided to renew Checo’s contract instead of singing someone like Carlos Sainz.

However, despite all the hype and conjectures, RB decided to take the safe route. But this hasn’t gone down well with the fans.
