Bromance is an essential part of F1. Without it, clashes between the teammates are imminent and would certainly result in fallout for them and the team as well. The same has been visible in the case of Mercedes as well. We have seen the fighting as well as the love of the highest grade. While the former nearly caused a breakdown in communication among the drivers, leading to rivalry, the latter assisted the team and drivers in thriving even more.
The case here is the bromance and chemistry, involving Lewis Hamilton‘s crazy PDA moment after the team won the double championship. What did the Brit do that prompted his teammate to say it? Well, he stuck his tongue out as his teammate went in for a hug!
Wondering who the teammate was? Well, certainly given the dramatic lines, one might think it was Nico ‘Britney’ Rosberg. But, no. It was the Finn, Valtteri Bottas, who went in to congratulate the Briton over the team’s triumph in the 2018 season and claimed he saw the Briton sticking his tongue out in the helmet after the team had won the constructors’ championship and Lewis himself bagged his fifth title.

Valtteri, as quoted by the Express, said, “In this picture, Lewis was trying to kiss me, it was a really confusing moment. I went for the hug but then I could see his lips and then his tongue as well. Just before that I changed my head to the other side and we hugged. Lewis whispered to me ‘Ok we will do it later.’”

Valtteri Bottas’s claims had everyone rolling on the floor, and everyone seemed to be on board with the idea of the two teammates kissing. But, because everything was done under the helmets, they also wanted to hear what Lewis had to say.
When asked about Bottas’s comments, Lewis gave green light to the claims and said, “This is an interesting picture because I wasn’t sure if Valtteri wanted to kiss me or not. Thankfully we both had helmets on so he couldn’t get that close. Potentially at that moment, he might have wanted to kiss me but Valtteri it is ok.”
