“We Miss You”: Fed Up Fans Want “Binotto Out”, Make a Special Request to an Old Ferrari Warhorse

With what could have been one of the best seasons for Ferrari, the team ended this year’s run with a lot of upsets. The team had all the possible armories which could have made them the champions of the 2022 season. But the reliability issues and driver’s error had brought them disappointments. Now the fans want the Scuderia team principal ‘out’.

The Italian engineer is facing the wrath of fans for a long time now. According to them, Binotto isn’t able to make full use of the team’s potential. Ferrari was the only team to give Red Bull a fierce battle this season. However, now they are just 40 points ahead of the Silver Arrows and with the improved Mercedes car, Scuderia P2 seems to be in danger.

Ferrari is consistently failing to convert their qualifying results into a pole from the last few races. The consistent failure has made the fans angry and dissatisfied. The anger made the fans launch a campaign against the Maranello team principal, where they want Mattia Binotto to leave the team.

As proof of it, there’s a Twitter clip that is going viral in which Ferrari’s ex-team principal, Maurizio Arrivabene, could be seen walking through the crowd of Scuderia fans. In which one of the fans shouted, “Binotto out”, Arrivabene seems a little surprised and after a while nods his head in approval.

The Prancing horse’s performance this season had surely given some high hopes to the fans. But in the second half of the season, Scuderia was unable to match the speed as compared to the beginning of 2022 season. Fans are accusing Ferrari’s team principal behind the teams’ inconsistency.

It seems the Twitter F1 fans were waiting for this moment as they bombarded social media by reacting to the clip. Some of them want Maurizio back, while some want that the current team boss, Mattia Binotto, to resign from the team as soon as possible.

One fan shared his emotions about Binotto he wrote,” I’ve never really wanted a team principle to leave the team as most of them are dedicated to their job and provide good leadership, Binotto may be dedicated to f**king up ferrari but his leadership skills do not exist.”

With the remaining two races, it’ll be interesting to see if team Ferrari can defend their P2 in the team’s standing or if it will be the Silver Arrows who can be the runners-up for season 2022.
