The exciting Saudi Arabian Grand Prix came to an end, with Max Verstappen taking the honors. The attention of F1 fans has now turned to the Oscars as Will Smith’s reaction to a joke made by Chris Rock broke the internet. Rock made a joke at Jada Pinkett Smith’s expense, only to realize that her husband, Will Smith, was in the building. And Will was not too happy about it, as seen by his reaction. Seeing this, F1 fans recalled a video of Lewis Hamilton being tied up by Will Smith in the Mercedes paddock.

They were filming a skit during the 2018 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. In the hilarious video, Smith kidnaps Hamilton saying he wants to replace the Seven-time World Champion to race in an F1 car.

The Mercedes driver is visibly ‘distraught’ with the legendary actor, but asks Smith to win the race and come back. In the end, the Fresh Prince gets caught in the Mercedes garage. The hysterical skit caught the eye of the public as fans loved the video directed by popular director Michael Bay.

Lewis Hamilton praises Will Smith’s role in King Richard

Lewis Hamilton admires the role played by Will Smith in the movie King Richard. The movie portrays how Richard Williams overcame all the hurdles and made his daughters, Serena and Venus Williams, what they are today. In a way, the story reflects Hamilton’s journey to the top as well. He has stated several times the role his parents played in his success.

Hamilton admitted that the film touched him as he praised Will Smith’s role. He said, “Of course, I know Will so I am really proud of what he was able to project with this film. I know he has had awards and stuff but I was really moved by the story.”

Meanwhile, on the track, the Mercedes driver struggled in the qualifying session in Saudi Arabia. He was eliminated in Q1 for the first time since Brazil 2017. But, he bounced back on Sunday and finished P10. However, at one stage he was on the verge of a top 5 finish but couldn’t keep the place he had got due to a bad strategy.
