When they are away from the world of F1, the two spend quality time with each other. In an old video, Lewis can be seen playing a match of tennis against his father.

Lewis Hamilton is competitive against his dad

When drivers are away from the world of racing, they still like to keep fit. Hence, they take part in other sports to keep fit. So it was no surprise to see Lewis playing a tennis match. But what is surprising is to see him play against his dad.

The two were certainly enjoying themselves, but that’s when Anthony decided he wanted to win. He played a trick shot against the Mercedes driver, who wasn’t able to send the ball back to his dad. Anthony was over the moon that he won, while Lewis couldn’t hold back his laughter.

While this was going on, Lewis’s dog, Roscoe, was barking. Many within the F1 community would assume that he was trying to cheer for the 7-time world champion.

Is Hamilton stepping away from the world of Formula One?

The 37-year-old British driver had a prolonged battle with Red Bull driver Max Verstappen. However, he was controversially denied a potential record eighth world title, which Verstappen went on to win. After such a bitter season finale, there has been a widespread theory that Lewis may retire from the sport.
