Sebastian Vettel proves his status as a hugely funny driver on a number of occasions. However, there does come a time when a comedian’s jokes fall flat. The German driver experienced one such moment during the pre-race press conference for the Monaco GP. Unfortunately, for him, nobody really got the joke, and he was left disappointed.
The joke went something like this, “So there’s this matchstick climbing the hill. It’s all sweaty because it is exhausted. Nearly at the top of the hill, there’s this hedgehog walking by. The matchstick goes, ‘Oh! If only I had known there was a bus! I would have taken the bus.'”

Admittedly, the German driver has moved to Aston Martin for a fresh start. This was after he suffered a nightmarish stint at Scuderia Ferrari. However, his progress has been a bit too sluggish for his liking in the first few races of the season. On the bright side, he is slowly and steadily finding his feet in the team and is able to keep up with teammate Lance Stroll.
Now, the German driver heads to the principality of Monaco, a track where he has often performed well at. Vettel currently has amassed seven podiums at the Monaco GP. However, it would be presumptuous to assume that he could add to his tally in this year’s race, barring something dramatic.
