Sebastian Vettel may not be contesting for the drivers’ championship anymore, but he is still a fan favorite. He does enjoy a very different kind of fandom in the motorsport world. He has recently been advocating sustainability in the world and is keeping to his word.
Earlier in the year at Silverstone, we spotted him picking up litter from the grandstands after the race. It highlighted the amount of litter that people were leaving behind after a race. Although he did not really want to be seen doing it, Vettel hopes people learn from his act of kindness.
Before the beginning of the race in Austin, he had asked the people to not litter or at least pick up the litter. He had mentioned that it only adds the work for the ground staff.

Sebastian Vettel analyzes his race in Austin
The German driver finished 10th in the US Grand Prix in Austin. He started the race from P17 and made up the places by passing other drivers on the track and by strategy during the pit stops.
” Yeah, I mean it’s good to take a point, so I’m happy about that. Happy with the strategy we chose, so yeah, it helped us to have fresher tires at the end and managed to pass the people to take the point,” said Sebastian.

He also commented on his pass on George Russell.
” I like racing George, not the first time this year, he knows where his car is. He is always fair. Obviously, he sometimes had the upper hand today and sometimes I had the upper hand so that was good fun I enjoyed it.”
