It is almost time to kick off a Grand Prix event in Mexico, and like Pizza in Italy and hamburgers in the US, most of the drivers, including Max Verstappen and Valtteri Bottas, have been filling up their tummies with Tacos, the most famous Mexican dish.

Bottas, in particular, is known to be a sound eater, and even earned the badge, ‘The Porridge Man’ back in 2020. However, looking at how his latest press conference unfolded, there is a significant chance that Tacos might supersede the Finn’s love for Porridge. Here’s why.

During the press conference in Mexico, the interviewer put forward a scenario; the drivers would have to eat Tacos for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In that case, how many would Bottas and Verstappen eat? The Dutchman kept it simple and pointed out that he had 4 on Wednesday and still felt he had too much to eat.

I had four yesterday. I thought that was quite a lot,” the Red Bull driver said.

Valtteri Bottas’ number leaves Max Verstappen shocked

It was time for Bottas to give out his answer, and boy did it leave Verstappen absolutely stunned, as he ended up bursting into laughter. The soon-to-be Alfa Romeo driver reckoned he would be able to eat around 30 Tacos, as the ones in Mexico seemed a bit smaller compared to the ones in Europe.

I had some Tacos here. They are so good here. They’re a bit smaller than maybe what you get in Europe. I think if I would really like breakfast, lunch, dinner had only Tacos, I would say I could do 30. But, that’s my estimate,” Bottas said.

Verstappen couldn’t resist but react to the staggering number that Bottas chose to put forward. The 2021 title contender opined Bottas could roll him through the room if he had 30 Tacos in a single day.

Oh man, if I would eat that many, you can roll me through the room,” the Dutchman hilariously replied. There is almost no chance that Verstappen would be able to challenge Bottas in eating.

But, there is a huge chance that the duo would end up at crossroads on the track at the Hermanos Rodriguez circuit. So, can Bottas join Hamilton, Verstappen, and possibly, Perez, for a four-way battle for the Mexican GP victory? Well, we’ll know in time.
