Mick Schumacher had a terrible accident at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix qualifying. The Haas driver lost his car on the Turn-10 and 11 and could not keep the VF-44 from smashing into the wall.

The crash left the whole car in tatters and for a moment the German driver was motionless. But he quickly should sign of movement in his cockpit and was taken out by the medical team.

Alfa Romeo driver Valtteri Bottas was on the track when the accident happened and he stopped to check on Mick.

The Finnish driver was quick to react and asked Schumacher if he was fine or not after the incident. He drove off after he got a response from the German driver in the affirmative and when he saw that the medical team was on the scene to help the Haas driver.

This is Schumacher’s second crash on this circuit as he previously went out in the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

The American team informed the German driver is fine and had spoken to his mother. “We’ve heard that Mick is conscious, out of the car, and currently on his way to the medical center and appears physically fine and has spoken to his mum,” said Haas official.

It would be interesting to see if Schumacher would take part in the race tomorrow after such a heavy crash. Hopefully, everything is fine and he can go racing tomorrow and try to score his first points in F1.
