An F1 driver wants to beat everyone on the grid. Especially their teammate because the 2 compete in the same machinery and he is the best benchmark to compare the driver against. At Red Bull Sergio Perez has a monumental task at hand, beating Max Verstappen.

However, all rivalries aside the 2 teammates also need to get along with each other to help the team. The paddock has seen quite a few bromances over the years and we can smell a fresh one brewing.

Sergio’s pet

The Max Verstappen-Sergio Perez bromance is a new one on the grid. Recently there has been a clip of Sergio Perez doing the rounds on the internet answering Q&As. It has the fans going crazy over the Mexican’s responses.

Fans have been loving his response to the question and letting their feelings known in the comments section.

Some fans pointed out that the clip has been taken out of context. Perez was answering a previous question when he ended up calling Max his pet.

 

Whatever be the case the clip does get a good laugh out of people. It also shows the dynamic that the 2 enjoy as teammates.

Red Bull’s 2022 start

The Austrian team started the 2022 season off strong. They enjoyed a near-flawless pre-testing in Barcelona and followed it up with a great run at testing in Bahrain. However, come race day in Bahrain they crumbled with technical issues. Both Max and Sergio ended up retiring from the race with mechanical problems.

The second round in Saudi Arabia was one of redemption with them stealing both pole and the race win from Ferrari. Red Bull seems to be the only challenge to Ferrari’s blatant dominance. There are reports that the team might bring upgrades to the next race in Australia.
