Many believe Checo is doing so great after joining Red Bull. The 32-year-old is one of the best drivers and has showcased his incredible talent for defending his position. In 2017, Checo superbly defended against Verstappen with Force India VJM10, which was inferior to Max’s Red Bull RB13.

Checo can get closer to the championship title in Baku

Team Principal Christian Horner also gave the green light to Checo to fight in the championship battle. The Red Bull boss reported, “It doesn’t matter to us which of the two is world champion.”
