Sebastian Vettel closed his chapter with Scuderia Ferrari with his last race in Abu Dhabi on Sunday. In his last race for Ferrari, the German could finish only at P13. However, he stated that it was an emotional day for the team.
He joined Ferrari in 2015 in the wake of having won 4 World Championships with Red Bull. He stated in the post-race interview that the race was forgettable, but he will remember the send-off given by the team.

Sebastian Vettel was seen carrying a box full of beer and sharing it with his teammates. He celebrated his time with the Ferrari team by sharing a beer with everyone.
Vettel is leaving the Maranello team and moving on to Aston Martin, the newly rebranded Racing Point team next season.
Sebastian Vettel feels he was left vulnerable by Ferrari’s strategy
Sebastian Vettel had an underwhelming season, and it was topped off by another no-points finish at the end. According to a report, the Ferrari strategy left the German vulnerable towards the end of the race.
The report stated, “While most runners pitted on Lap 10 during the Safety Car period for new tyres, Vettel stayed out and lasted 35 laps on his starting hard tyres, but after the race he said Ferrari’s strategy left him “vulnerable” to rivals who had gained time by pitting for new tyres under the caution period.”

Meanwhile, Vettel had some really nice things to say about Charles Leclerc. He pointed out that the Monegasque has the potential to be the man of the future. However, he clarified that it’s only if he gets the car that he deserves.
Sebastian Vettel leaves Formula 1’s biggest team after 118 races. Unfortunately, during his time at Ferrari, the World Championship eluded him. However, his time in Ferrari was not without success as he won 14 races and claimed 55 podiums.
