In the second practice session on Friday at the Austrian Grand Prix, Lando Norris had a spin in the first sector of the track. When asked by his race engineer if there was any damage done to the MCL35M, Norris replied in the way he is known for.

Overall, the young Brit had a mediocre session as he only managed to be the ninth fastest on the timesheet. It wasn’t much of an improvement for the 21-year-old as he finished in tenth in the session before.

Being asked by his McLaren race engineer about the damage he sustained after his spin, Norris cheekily replied, “Talent”, he then gave the proper answer saying, “Just the tires are flat-spotted.”

The race engineer acknowledged the message and then told him the order of drivers behind him, which consisted of the likes of Verstappen, Hamilton, and Perez.

However, Lando isn’t a driver who is going to give but rather work to find a solution and help his team earn crucial points for the championship.
