Nikita Mazepin has had a disastrous start to his rookie season in F1. The Russian involved in several controversies on and off the track. Haas driver acts as a roadblock for other drivers and spinning his car out of track regularly.
Since the first race of the season, Mazepin has struggled to maneuver the car, engaged in many crashes, and spun frequently. Eventually, the Russian has been given the nickname ‘Maze-spin’.
In addition, after the Syrian GP, Haas team principal Guenther Steiner hilariously troll Mazepin by gifting a spinning top and told the Russian to spin the top instead of spinning the car. But ahead of the Austrian GP, Nikita Mazepin paybacks Guenther Steiner for the ‘Maze-Spinning’ top gift.

Nikita Mazepin gifts ‘fok smash door’ to Steiner
In 2019, Kevin Magnussen smashed the office door of Guenther Steiner, which upset the Haas team principal. So keeping in mind the Russian gifted a fok door as a return gift.
“I came up with an idea with some of the followers that you have got a broken door from last year or the year before with Kevin. And there’s your fok smash door which is not gonna be FOK smashed,” said Mazepin.
“Who is your followers, Kevin Magnussen, nobody else,” Steiner replies hilariously. “In Russia, you need to be polite. Yeah, you are Russian but you’re not polite.”
Mazepin unhappy with heavy chassis
The Russian finished a long way behind his teammate Mick Schumacher at the Styrian GP. And after the race, Mazepin admits heavy car chassis is hampering his race pace and did not expect to get a new one soon.
“When you have a lot of laps, long straights and you have a very heavy car compared to the other car in our team, it’s very difficult to stay ahead,” said Nikita Mazepin.

I’m not happy, but I’m just waiting for a new one to have a chance because at the moment I’m just a sitting duck.”
When asked about fresh developments the Russian said: “Unfortunately not. Maybe in the next six, seven races, but that’s not very soon.”
