The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix has seen its fair share of crashes at its first Formula One race. In Saturday’s session, Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen suffered a crash, and now in Sunday’s race, it was Mick Schumacher who found himself in the wall.

Mick Schumacher brings out the safety car at the Saudi Arabian GP
Many were excited for the inaugural F1 race in Saudi Arabia, a fast-paced track that could make an exciting race. However, there have been a few crashes during the Grand Prix weekend, and now in Sunday’s race, it is Schumacher Jr who found himself out of the race after suffering a horrible crash.
As Mick was pushing his Haas to the limit, he seemed to have lost control as he entered the 22nd corner of Jeddah. Soon, Schumacher found himself in the barrier, similar to Leclerc’s crash that the F1 community witnessed in FP2. A safety car was brought out, but soon the FIA red-flagged the session.

No points for Mick at Jeddah
The German driver would have hoped that he had scored his first F1 points so far this season. However, it seems that Mick would have to wait for the final race in Abu Dhabi to do so.
After his horrible crash at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, the 22-year-old will aim to bounce back for the final race of the season. Having shown the potential that he can crack Q2 in qualifying, Schumacher will be looking forward to zipping around Yas Marina, hoping to bag his first F1 points in his rookie year.
